Carhartt Simple Cord Pants
Arriving for autumn/winter ‘19, these Simple Cord Pants from Carhartt reflect the brands focus on strength and durability through triple stitched seam construction across a classic relaxed straight fit silhouette made from 8 wale 9.7oz corduroy. Dyed to a blacksmith colourway, the selected corduroy is naturally durable and warm and brings a subtle old school look to an everyday pair of trousers. The regular waistband features a selection of a belt loops and is secured by a single silver button which is decorated with Carhartt lettering and a zippered fly has been added below. On either side of the front slanted entrance pockets offer space to carry small everyday items, in addition to shaped patch pockets on the reverse. A square woven Carhartt label has been stitched on top of the right side for signature branding. For a clean finish that means the fabric can be rolled and styled to suit, the legs have straight cut hems. Bartack stitching has been added at vital stress points of this design which increases the longevity and overall strength.
Labelled as ‘an exercise in eclecticism’ autumn/winter ‘19 sees Carhartt introduce a selection of seasonal staples such as heavy duty jackets, corduroy trousers and everyday premium cotton t-shirts.
